Biography
Dr. Werner A. Meier is a senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research (IPMZ) at the University of Zürich. His research and teaching interests are media sociology, media policy and political economy of media industries. He is member of board of directors of SwissGIS – Swiss Centre for Studies on the Global Information Society at the University of Zürich and Co-Chair of the Euromedia Research Group (EMRG).
