Making Communications Research Matter

A new (and ongoing) essay forum on the relationship between communications research and policymaking.

Using the Resource Database

Adding your profile to the Resource Database is a good way to signal your work to others.   Getting started is simple...

Steps:

(1) Create an account and log in.

(2) Go to the Resource Database

(3) Add yourself to the database.  If you're already there, it will tell you!

(4) Click edit at the bottom of your profile to update and expand the profile -- institutional affiliations, publications, projects, and so on.  If, for example, you've added your profile and that of your institution, you can connect them via the 'add association' button on the profile edit pages.

(5) 'Claim' your profile in My Workspace.  Now, only you can change your basic personal information.

(6) Add or Edit other profiles to enrich the community map.
