Biography
Assistant Professor, Journalism and Photography School of Communication at the University of Miami. She holds her Ph.D. in Latin American Studies from Tulane University, with a specialization in the politics and media of the region. She is especially interested in understanding the relationship between journalism, citizenship and the public sphere. She teaches courses on comparatie media systems, international mass communication, foreign reporting, and media and globalization.
