Biography

Sakura Saunders is a media activist who has been involved with community radio for the past 10 years. She served as program director and office coordinator of KDVS. In addition to helping to start the LPFM station KDRT, Sakura sits on the board of directors of Prometheus Radio Project. Sakura's radio work has appeared on Democracy Now! and Sprouts Radio; her writing has been published on CorpWatch.org and in the San Francisco Bay Area publication Fault Lines. She is now the Northern editor for the Web site protestbarrick.net.
