Description

The ONI is a member of a growing community of researchers, policy specialists and advocates working in the field of communications rights. The relationship is reciprocal. At the national level we work with networks of local advocates and researchers who contribute to the all important analysis of filtering and surveillance policies for specific case study countries. At the same time, the ONI builds on the capacity of our local partner institutions through a structured knowledge-sharing network, specialized training opportunities, and individual mentorship in the skills necessary for conducting and communicating policy-focused research.
