Jaewon Chung is a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council, where she works with the Necessary Knowledge for a Democratic Public Sphere program. She has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on Asian American Studies and Women's Studies. After graduating, she worked as a Development Intern at Make A Better Place and helped conduct some field research for the Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York. Prior to joining the staff at the SSRC, she was a Research Assistant at the Vera Institute of Justice on a project investigating Clinical HIV/AIDS Trials Involving Children in Foster Care.
