Abstract
In this article, the author reflects on models of media democracy, specifically examining MediaChannel.org, a web site with which she was affiliated. An effort between activists and independent journalists, MediaChannel served as a “gateway” for media reform organizations, providing articles about media activism, criticism, and reform from international writers.
