Biography
I am an assistant professor at the Communications and New Media Programme of the National University of Singapore and the Head of the Participatory Media Lab, an initiative started in 2007 at the School of Information Systems of Singapore Management University. My past research experience before coming to Singapore has been mostly with IBM Research, at the Zurich Research Laboratory.
My current research focuses on licensing, copyright and DRM issues, examining how these affect traditional business models as well as how they are affected by the advent of new forms of peer-based content production. In the past I have worked on the management and economics of telecommunications (bandwidth trading) and distributed computing (grid economics).
