Sameer Jarrah is the Todd G. Patkin Fellow in Arab Democracy and
Development at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings
Institute. Mr. Jarrah founded the Arab World Center for Democracy, Development
and Human Rights, which engages in human rights advocacy and training for
non-governmental organizations around the region. A practicing attorney, Mr.
Jarrah is also an expert in intellectual property law in the Arab world. During
his time at the Saban Center he will undertake a study of relations between
civil society and the state in Jordan.
