Abstract

This study explores the computer-mediated communication practices of the transnational civil society organizations involved in the World Summit on the Information Society, using both quantitative and qualitative data from an international survey and archival research.  In addition to presenting these findings, the article discusses their implications for the global governance of cyber infrastructure and the Information Society, and provides recommendations for the second phase of the WSIS.
