Biography
Academic/professional background: Dr. Raphael received a B.A. in English from Harvard University in 1989 and a Ph.D. in Radio-TV-Film from Northwestern University in 1997.
Teaching areas/responsibilities: Professor Raphael teaches Technology and Communication, Introduction to Mass Communication, Silicon Valley Communication Technologies, History and Theory of News, and Public Discourse and the Environment.
