Brian Dolber has a B.A. in Journalism from George Washington University. He is interested in the political economy of the media, and the ways in which representations of labor construct class identity and influence political activity and organizing among working class people. Brian has worked with several labor unions and non-profit organizations, as an organizer with the Service Employees International Union, an intern in the higher education department at the American Federation of Teachers, and an outreach coordinator with the Coalition for Higher Education Act Reform and the Drug Reform Coordination Network. Brian is one of several bloggers at the progressive online magazine, The Gadflyer.
